Get informed before you make pronouncements. I will say that I'm gratefull. Our discussion has been quite enlightening for me. I dug into some material that I hadn't seen before, sic the BBC links; and got a little taste of how selective one [you] can be in throwing around a stat without explanation to distort the view of the situation. [and throw an insult or two in the process] Your tactic of avoidance, i.e., introducing one-off topics rather than being responsive, isn't an effective defense of your position as you might think. [Such tactics rarely are in any dialogue.] People do remember what question they asked or what point was made and what was not reponded to. At the end of the dialogue, I'm more sympathetic to the Palestinians then I was before we started and I have you to thank for it. Ironic, isn't it? Cheers, jttmab
