I played in a golf tournament Thurs-Sat .... one guy who I played against is the CEO of a NY-based company (?) which provides a server-based push technology for PDAs --- he says that this/his technology is going gang-busters in the Enterprise Space --- he also said that as yet CPQ's iPAQ doesn't support PUSH. We didn't have time to get into the whys but he was pretty sure that CPQ's iPAQ would soon be able to.

Just some additional info

PALM operating system was recently reported to be the system used in 97% of PDA products. Amazing thing. So where is MSFT CE? Things are looking better and better for PALM while its competitors are having serious problems, even those who licence their OS. PALM also the beneficiary of teh confusion period during the CPQ-HWP merger snafu. If this keeps up, MSFT may throw in the towel and let PALM be the platform. Hey, remember SONY and Beta-Max? They were the kings then, but their competing platform still got thrown out. Can happen.
