I have my faults but jealousy is not one of them. I am comfortable in my lifestyle and have more than I need as it is, so jealousy does not enter into it. BTW, you lead me to ask how a persecuted people (Jews in Europe) could accumulate wealth if they were persecuted? How many Black American slaves had real estate holdings, jewelry, art works, and other tangible assets? Normally, persecuted and discriminated people do not accumulate wealth. The wider European community including a majority of non-Jews must have traded with Jews and made them successful through that commerce. Are you trying to insinuate that European Jews stole those assets? I would not believe that. The Isra-Elis have done wonderful things with Western assets to turn Palestine into a productive and thriving society. The only bug-a-boo is that it was not their land to do anything with. If I take over your house and redecorate it, does that justify the taking over of your property? The Whites in South Africa used the same logic you are trying to employ here in the case of Palestine. It did not wash there and it will not wash in Isra-El. FYI, the Jewish nation, world-wide has already and continues to accomplish much. Colonialism is not part of it. I do not oppose Isra-El because of Judaism (if it is really Judaism afterall), I oppose Isra-El because it is a Western colony foisted upon the Arab world because of injustice against Jews, AND OTHERS in Europe. It is in your best interest to characterize my opposition to colonialism as hatred or jealousy or whatever. It is for your lack of a substantial reason to support oppression in the name of religion that makes Isra-El even more of an abomination than South Africa. That is your smoke screen and shield to try to thwart criticism of a rogue colony that has run amok. I will not go into the monopolization of the Holocaust by some Jews who wish to use that as another tool to shield Isra-El from fair and unbiased evaluation. In the future, try to avoid name calling and make your case based on reason as opposed to argumentum ad hominum attacks. I usually view such behavior as a result of someone who has a weak case and knows it. Best regards, len
