My first piece of advice is that you study some actual history, instead of accepting the Palestinian rewrite at face value.

The Palestinians like to pretend that the Zionists showed up in 1948 and took the land by force. In fact, there had already been over 60 years of Zionist development -- on land bought and paid for -- by that time. The events of 1948 happened in the context of a war that the Arabs initiated. Had the Zionists lost, there would be no Jews in Palestine now. The Palestinians don't want you to know that.

The Arab world drove out as many Jewish refugees as the Arabs who fled from Palestine. However, the Arab world chose to keep the Palestinian refugees sitting in squalid camps, while the Israelis resettled all the Jewish refugees. That's why you never hear about them.
