You are right on the spot here. The scrap rate is indeed much less than it would be if everything else would be melted and turned into the new generation of Seat Ibizas. Or then, not.

What is that in real money (i.e. Euros)? I mean, we have a new global currency. So what if we lost nearly a quarter of its value since the introduction? I think its pretty good going considering we have the Italians doing the finances. So who does this Greenspan guy think he is anyway?

PS. I had to make a choice at 0.8900 flat big (and when I say big, I mean big) against Euro. Here we go again.
