Dale Weaver, << March US single family housing starts down 11% to 1.3m. >>

Don't forget that those numbers are being compared to unusually high numbers from a very mild winter. In actuality the weather in March was much worse than the weather that was experienced over the winter.

I do see a problem in the "permit" numbers though, because they predict the future and they were down this month.

The "CPI" numbers are still showing no signs of inflation and that should put the interest rate increase worries to rest, especially with the housing numbers.

IMO, The Capacity Utilization number that comes out @ 9:15 is a huge number for "Tech" stocks because AMAT justified a stock split on the basis that their Capacity Utilization would increase this year.
