Damage control. Victims will be selected and sacrificed to save the Church. The real test will be in what measures are adopted to prevent recurring episodes of these events. I think a lot of this alleged "pedophilia" is just repressed homosexual men acting out on younger men they are able to control by using their position. Tolerance for homosexuals is understandable in light of Church doctrine but not for these acts. Given the prevalence of homosexual members among the clergy, this is going to be a tough problem to overcome.....
