Yes the Teamsters are a big problem. They are lying about ANWAR too. They talk about hundreds of thousands of jobs but the real figure is more like 10,000. They talk about oil being recoverable within 2 years but it's more like 10 and its questionable how much is recoverable without doing exactly the kind of permanent damage warned of in the recent government study on ANWAR. The Teamsters are a notoriously corrupt organization. It is not a surprise they would team up with the big oil lobby. After all they are truckers and truckers HATE fuel efficency standards, speed limits and the like. Theyir priorities are understandable but they are often at odds with what's good for the nation as a whole.
