It sounds like it's time for Sun to take the AMD processors out of the Cobalt line and replace them with SPARCs.

You mean punish one of their hardware partners because they won't bend to the corporate will of Scott McNeally. Now isn't that the type of behavior that you accuse Microsoft of. What is your rational for suggesting that Sun threaten and punish AMD.

Jeez Chuck, I just don't know. The only reason they have AMD in the first place is that they keep walking into customer sites and their customers keep demanding some intel based solutions and sun sure doesn't want intel to get the business......maybe they could switch to Transmeta?

But what do you think? :))
