Man, I'd love for my kids to be trilingual. Not gonna happen, though. I majored in Romance Languages in college. Basically Spanish, so it's been easy to pick up Italian, but French is something else entirely. I need a new soft palate in order to get it straight. Lots of mexicanos up here in service industries (waiters, cooks, gardeners), Vietnamese, Portuguese and Bosnian enclaves too. My Korean daughter's still pretty much an anachronism in this part of the country (NYC notwithstanding).
