Hi Thomas. I hope your presumption about the Israeli/Palestinian saga is correct. He has let me down in the sense that the world wide message that we are against terrorism is gone. Now if we can still win the war with his "politically correct" posturing with Arafat, then I will go back and compliment his strategy. I realize that he is letting Israel continue their operation, and believe that he feels it is the right thing to do. But I also feel he should have stood up to the podium and explained to American and the world just where we do stand on this issue.

To me the Europeans appear to be on Arafat's side, and America appears to be in the middle. In my view we should say that we are 100% behind Israel's current military police action and that it is the RIGHT THING TO DO.

Instead we are publicly demanding that they withdraw, and privately telling them to carry on (I hope). Don't you see any inconsistancy in Bush's position on terrorism?
