I must have misread your earlier post that started all of this. When I read:

"It requires firing all of the criminally incompetent leadership including Ashcroft and the administration leadership, much of the corrupt organizational leadership, and much of Congress for failing in its oversight"

I took it that you don't like America. It seems to me now that you do love America, but are profoundly dissapointed in our leadership. I have some of the same peeves, but not nearly as all encompassing. I like the fight against corruption and deciept, but wish people would be more specific with their greivences. When it is a sweeping statement that takes in the whole system I get suspicious.

Regarding:

"Why are they making it a crime to report that they have even looked at book lists being read?"

I don't know anything about this law accept what you have posted on. But to me an obvious answer is that if you tell a suspect he is being investigated by the FBI he will change his behavior to reduce the risk of being caught. It is paranoia (imo) to think that the administration is doing this so they can spy on all Americans for some kind of a power trip. What do you think they would do with information on a couple of hundred million U.S. citizens?

I trust that they are looking for bad guys who want to do harm to America.
