Oh, I wish I could agree with the Post. I now believe, however, we are well beyond the qualifier of "may" in that sentence above. The deed is done. The issue now is how to handle it.

The language used for some time was "we must do x before things spin out of control." It looks increasingly too me as if we've passed the "spin out of control" point. Certainly, it might be possible to get temporary cease fires but I fear Sharon's actions have created a historical watershed. I certainly hope I'm wrong.
