My reading of the history of insurrections is that desperate conditions rarely produce them. Rising expectations which are then thwarted, are the prime conditions. Late 18th cen. France is one such case. Yes, that's exactly correct. And, as of sometime in the middle 80s Charles Tilley work's was the defining one here. As for fitting with Oslo, perhaps. I don't know. But no one should argue that folk in desperate conditions should not be given hope less things turn real ugly.
