"The always fragile Israeli economy is to some extent imploding as Sharon piles on more debt to finance his war efforts." Precisely. And we are going to be expected to bail them out yet again, even as Sharon thumbs his nose at us and the rest of the world. I want to see peace in the middle east. I want to see a safe and prosperous Israel. I want to see a safe and prosperous Palestine. Sharon has set all this back by 20 years. It is tough to dig down deep and begin the process all over again -- Sharon is detroying peace and the foundations for peace. Without peace there is only a costly and tragic cycle of death. The Israelis don't seem to get it. The world is losing patience.
