"The Palestians do have some legitimate aspirations to statehood. Their methods suck"

If their methods suck, why reward them? Won't that encourage others to use the same methods?

And what are their rights to statehood? I would like more information on this. According to editorials from George Will and other conservatives, the Palestinians VOLUNTARILY left their lands so others could more easily destroy Israel. Is there any truth to that? If it is true, I have NO sympathy for them. Will also mentioned that they had a U.N mandate in the late 40's (1948?) for statehood and they rejected it. Any details on that?

My view is that the U.N. came up with a place for the Jews to settle after the holocost and they have been fighting for survival against religious fanatics ever since. And the Arab fanatics don't seem all that different in their goals for the elimination of Jews than Hitler. Why was it bad for Hitler to want to wipe out all the Jews, but ok for Arabs?

Creepy and dangerous imo. I am interested in clearing up any errors in my thinking and hope that someone can come up with something other than "U.S. and Israeli policies" for their support of the terrorist PLO.
