tippet the company barely made the numbers. 2% revenue growth 15 cent/share in earnings.

In the first quarter last year, Intel reported net income of $485 million, or 7 cents a share, on revenue of $6.7 billion

Wait a minute .... even less than GM ........ so their business is cyclical ...... even with a recovery in sight the may earn $1 next year (now 0.60 annualized) still the stock trades at stratospherical multiples for a cyclical business P/E of 147 last time I checked, and who can guaranty my speculation of $1 which will bring it to a P/E of 31 in a year ??

GM earnings excluding the charges, GM earned $1.39 a share, or $791 million -- an improvement from 57 cents a share, or $321 million, last year stock trading at $64

So INTC is already in HIGH ORBIT <GGG>
