The only time I ever bought puts on amat was when it was at $85 in Q1/01. Of course, from there the stock continued rising, topping out over $110 and my puts went kaput.

You just never know with amat.....although we've never seen a P/S this high awarded amat before.

Best of luck either way.

The market is closed.
It's past midnight April 17 eastern time.
The last quote for AMAT on Datek is $55.02.
AMAT was to split after the market closed April 16.
I just put a limit sell order in for AMAT @ $56.50.

Will my limit order "split" when the stock does and become $28.25 or should I have made my order for $28.25 to start with ?
