Yes, but how much room it takes up is the question. If adding the cache suddenly takes the die size up to 100mm^2, then the advantages of 300mm wafers would allow Northwood to be equally as low cost. And that doesn't even include differences in yield. At this point, Intel has indicated that their .13u process is outperforming their expectations. Who knows how AMD's .13u process will yield....
