I lived in Culver City and there was an old woman who wore men's suits. She looked like an Alice B. Toklas vintage lesbian (I'm not sure if she was lesbian or not, really, other than her look). She smoked cigars and I never saw her wear anything else but man-suits. Since she was old, I assume people thought she was just eccentric - I sure did until I became better educated and saw historical pictures of people of her ilk. I kind of wish I had talked to her -- she was probably full of some interesting tales.
