Montana and Idaho are beautiful States. There you go denigrating the good people Democrat, Republican, religious, non-religious, straight, gay, white, black, redneck, academic ect.....of two of the states of the United States of America.

Are only people of CA part of America?

Go back to playing with your dolls.

Sooooooo typically un-patriotic of you.

Chris, Your utter ignorance shows when you say things like that. Montana is a good state--one of the best. People don't freak out when other people carry a rifle in their pickup, because by and large everyone carries for a lawful purpose and enjoys their firearms without killing people like you do in California or where ever it is you come from--it doesn't matter because if you check it out you'll find a lower crime rate there than most places. Montana is the way people should be.

Remember, the Unabomber got caught in Montana, but he got his ideas in California.

Comparative statistics on murder:

Montana Murder Rate 2000 1.8 per 100,000 highest rate since 1960: 4.9 per 100,000; lowest 1.7 per 100,000
California Murder Rate 2000 6.1 per 100,000; highest rate since 1960: 14.5 per 100,000; lowest 3.9 per 100,000

Other crimes show similar ratios.

I guess that shoot the heck out of your Montana redneck theory, huh Chris? Oh yeah, my source:

Oh, by the way, murder rate in Washington DC in 2000: 41.8 high 80.6 low 10.6 MURDERS PER 100,000 of population. Doesn't say a whole lot for restrictive gun laws, does it?
