Actually, were I in charge, I'd permanently annex 10 square miles of West Bank territory for every suicide bombing that takes place.

And I would concur that much of the turmoil which has been perpetuated in the mid-east is as a result of continuing Arab hostility to Israel's presence (but not batting an eye at their own oppressive regimes).

And you were doing fine until you mentioned Israel "dreaming" about taking the West Bank... Had they wanted to do so, they could have readily done so between 1956 and 1967. All Hussein had to do was stand aside, as he did in 1973, and the West Bank would still be part of Jordan.

But yes... it was obvious the Jordanians possessed the benefit of "interior lines"... and that control over that territory has a major strategic importance for Israel. Especially given the tentative nature of King Abdullah's rule in Jordan.
