I am one of those who basically wrote floyd off when Gilmour split. I guess I should listen to some of the things that you mention there.

Of course, I did write the Stones off in 1981 when they said it was their farewell tour (Tattoo You). I would contend that I made the right call on that one.

Amused to Death is one of the great, great albums of the 90's imho.
Roger Waters, Jeff Beck, Don Henley, Rita Coolidge..and those lyrics!
The music ain't bad either :)
