Sounds like business started falling off a cliff:

During a conference call with analysts, Veritas executives said they were tempering their forward guidance after the selling environment deteriorated in the final weeks of the first quarter.

``As we got into the month of March ... we saw a definite erosion,'' Veritas Chief Executive Gary Bloom said.

Jeff, the last major resistance is the rising support on the NDX off the Sept. lows through the Feb. lows. That one is around 1420 or so, and they'll gap us over it tomorrow most likely.

What is 1877 COMP? That number doesn't ring a bell.

I still think this may get range bound before dropping in earnest after May Max Pain. Dow and SPX have overhead resistance around 10,500 and 1152 or so respectively, and that may come into play.

GDP is 4/26. I think that is when things will really fall apart. Until then, we are on the same page as far as the 1880, 1946 stuff goes.

We may differ on what happens after we finally get a sentiment/volume confirmed low, say in May. I think we may get a very nice rally that lasts through the summer months and into the fall before we start to unravel again. Ultimately, I think that we are still over a year and a half from THE bottom.
