Thanks for the info on Verizon. Guess I need to look into them some more.

About the 3G phones, they are about to start coming out en-masse. I have one of the first models, but no color screen (like I could care!) They will be real nice in that they will allow high speed wireless modem access for modems. I think mine will go to 110-120 KBPS when the network is turned on.

I have also heard about AWE and Cingular merger rumors. Seems like the HP/CPQ merger with PCS being more DELL-like :o)

NXTL's earnings should trigger even more buying/short covering today. Got that one too!

This recovery was predictable. Nokia basically said it was about to occur when they reported results last quarter. Have been surprised by all the recent selling but have been buying into it.

Have always hated the telephone (and especially Ameritech!) but hate it a lot less with my new phone. Very handy and don't have to worry about when to call to get best rate, how many calls I have made, or if it is a LATA/interLATA/long Distance call. No &@#$ing telemarketers either :o)
