I noted the 1.3GHz speed on the day of its release here #reply-16974377 as it wasn't really something that AMD hid at least from retail sitings noted here and when one orders a notebook from Compaq the actual speed is specifically indicated after the model number.

The application of model numbers to the Athlon 4 was questionable to me at the time - particularly from the desktop (DDR and 133FSB) to notebook (SDR and 100FSB). I have also had similar concerns with how the Durons will be placed into the model number program and if they have the same model number to MHz relationship. Of course the model numbers include '+' and also perf (Duron Model X) <> perf (Athlon Model X). </rant>
