Looks like Frank fought a "TV" War. it was a Special Forces war. that LTC remark caught my eye too...we had the equivalent of one C team in country...the LTC was probably the commander. it would have made no difference if it was a colonel or general...there were no big American units to command and no American unit staffs to constantly provide feed back. it was a well fought battle...well-conceived...fought at the lowest tactical level...won with minimal friendly casualties. the mere fact that someone speculates that one enemy MAY have escaped from the battlefield is meaningless and that old 20-20 hindsight at work again. or it is a clear example that the nature of news is controversy and this reporter made some up.
