That's a lot of sugar and bananas.

First we lend them money to build roads, bridges, and ports that will allow them to export their products. We make these loans conditional on their opening their markets to our products.

Then we spend a billion a day to prevent them from selling their products in our markets.

Then we wonder why we can't get our money back.

Then we wonder why they don't like us.

If the number is accurate, that's a very strange set of policies.
