"We are disappointed with Chairman Arafat's performance. We believe all along that he could have done more and I have made it as clear as I can to him that we are and have been disappointed with his performance and it is time for him to make a strategic choice," (Colin) Powell told a news conference.

Is this indicitive of the Bush strategy that you like? Things seem to be shaping up, and hopefully your confidence in the Bush strategy will be rewarded. I think they know what they are doing, and have great respect for Bush and team. I wish that PC was not necesary (and not sure it was) as I would have liked to see President Bush deliver a message to the world that what Israel is doing is just and right. Telling them to withdrawl immediately (on April 6) was not exactly a ringing endorsement to Israel's response. I suppose it pleased some of our squeemish Euro "friends".
