Agreed, and that also gives it a unique feedback loop which will ensure a continued downward spiral imo.

I don't rule out seeking enlightenment as irrational, but I think seeking revelation has little to do with banding together like a bunch of animals to go spread terror throughout the world (not referring to you here -bg-). If I was less naive, maybe I'd think the "enlightenment" is just a synonym for the quest for land, gold, slaves, and homogenous society, too bad I'm naive -g-

Anyway, I wasn't knocking spirituality, just comparing the TV to other mediums used by large groups who wish to impose their thinking on others for fun and profit, while pretending to be doing otherwise. This includes the dairy and pork council ads as well as the riduculous agendas of the popular news networks. It's one giant cesspool of bullsh*it.
