Greenspan said no double dip? I was listening to his testimony but never heard him say that.

Greenspan's forecasting record leaves a lot to be desired to put it mildly. Wall Street loves him because he has gone all out to support the bubble -- not because of his miserable forecasting record.

I also expect a double dip -- unless the dollar tanks. And if that happens we get stagflation.

BTW I have it from a person who was there that Greenspan is a bit of an eccentric. The kind of guy who brings his own Pepsi to a Treasury reception because the Treasury was serving Coke.
