My main fear is the collapse on Pricewatch and therefore the need for speed from AMD 130 nm process.

Current PriceWatch prices don't look bad to me. But you are right that the key question is how quickly TBred can scale against Intel's aggressive schedule for P4. ASPs could get nasty if TBred is not up to scratch. And unfortunately TBred sure looks like a broken-down nag at first inspection.
