I have JLAs innane one liners on ignore so I'm not sure what you are talking about That's probably an improvement. I don't have them on ignore, which only makes it clear that he isn't sure what he's talking about.

I think in general I do not start food-fights My own observation of the hygiene of this thread and its predecessors is that one can generally get away with taking a position on any issue (except religion) without starting a food fight as long as one does not mention a political party or any of the poster children of any party. That's a subtlety that might not be apparent to a newcomer. It might exist just in my head, for all I know, but that's the way it seems to me, FWIW. EDIT: And smileys help, too. :)
