Niceguy, the captain -

Ready to go down with the ship, even after half of his colleagues have already jumped overboard.

I gotta at least give you credit for your determination.

Hope you brought snorkeling equipment. <g>

niceguy,

you seem to realize (in your own way), 2002 is going to be very hard for AMD and it may go down from here. And yet you refuse to get out and buy it at a lower price or write CC to make some money meanwhile. Its not like you haven't been burned badly with your investment philosophy in the recent past and yet you seems to be *extremely* attached to the company.

Is there any exit strategy at all ? Is there a dollar amount you are willing to lose before you say 'enough'. Perhaps you will do well long-term with AMD and recover all your losses, but I wonder if you move your investment out of AMD, even if a meteor hits Sunnyvale AMD headquarters and dresden at the same time.

BTW, I bought may $15 AMD puts at ~$1.

Maui.
