with gold you never ran against the wind
the sheep yelling at you were doing just that
the hard part is ignoring the sheep cries
little did they know they were running off a cliff

I am far more comfortable going against 75% of investors now
that is the pctage I figure are consistently wrong
the next big wrong group is to be bondholders
rates be rising soon, but probably not too soon

I give you credit for hitting the first inning with GOLD
I liked it last autumn, but didnt buy
honestly, I took a few months off last summer & autumn
I worked & saved, read constantly, invested nowhere

I will march with you into the Precious Metal Wars anyday
not too sure about your church though

yesterday was classic bear rally
in fact the last two months have seen a few classic bear rallies

they are punctuated by single day wonders
(even with decent volume, doesnt mattah)
followed by days of erosion and zero follow thru

just like yday and today
no rally can be led by Genl Morons and ATTitty
I mean GM and ATT

the downtrend channel is brutal and clear
DOWN
all rallies are contained within the bear channel

debt collapse is nowhere near over
dollar decline is next
and that will do horrible damage to US stocks AND bonds

even a slight rate hike by GreenFlation will do serious damage
the corporate debt has been swapped so heavily into shorterm
gonna crimp the bottom line by yearend

I see massive layoffs resuming by Christmas
then dollar slide is joined by real estate slide
