"Bashing the United States"?

Is that what you call bringing the criminally-negligent intel services up on charges, "bashing"?

These are our friends who caused what we tiptoe around and call "blowback". Which means, "oops, you're dead, sorry Mr. and Mrs. Citizen, we didn't ask you, but we used your money and our greed to kill you. All accidental, you understand."

An immediate criminal investigation into the past 20 years of intel actions and their effect on American citizens isn't bashing, that has become self-defense, my friend.

We will soon hear, as a result of upcoming calls for investigations, "The Mighty Wurlitzer" cranking up with many stories of how wonderful the intel services are, how brave the operatives are, how many times they've saved our sorry asses, we're lucky to have secret police by the millions, and should pay double for twice the secrecy.

All I'm saying is:"Prove it"
They've been shown to be a tool for the criminal activities of the Executive Branch, as well as independent "off the shelf" entrepreneurs serving themselves and foreign masters or partners, too long. There is no more credibility.

Secrecy is a cancer in this country. We won't be brought down by terrorists or state enemies. The only thing that will damage this country is unchecked secrecy of an all-powerful central government, in the present case, run by Bush Inc.

"I doubt they would be thrilled to be enlisted to bash the government of the United States, either......"

Good point neocon. They were heros though, that's for sure.
