looks like a bloated POS (piece of stock), but perhaps their biz model is not so bad ...I figure a lot of folks will be looking to streamline HR, no??

Charles -- I would not bet against Tom Golisano and his management team if you PAID me. Take a look at ADP -- a $30-ish billion market cap and a like 30-year un-interrupted string of earnings increases. Payroll is a GREAT business; capital returns and cash flow are just fantastic. Paychex is expanding into a whole host of other HR businesses as well that ultimately (IMO) will be bigger than their existing payroll business.

This is a company of the HIGHEST quality; frankly I don't know if there is a higher quality outfit out there. Like my comment a couple of seconds ago to Tip RE:KSS, this is the sort of stock that people are going to pile into as the rest of the stock market gets revealed for the cesspool that it is.

closed out my short position in PAYX for a measly 5% profit. might have tried for more except for some probably good advice from posters here. thanks guys.
