"which as we know can lead to immediate massive white collar crime at tax-payer expense a la Enron and the S+L's, price-fixing and gouging of consumers" I know you guys like to think negatively, but think of all the good that American corporations have done in the time frame you mention (from the 80's to 2002). Low cost, high quality goods for the entire world and TRILLIONS of dollars in salaries, benefits, etc. to American families. Think any of that income resulted in taxes for the gov't? Our gov't rakes in PLENTY of money now. If you would embrace the American way, which is to WORK for a living, you would not have to be so bitter about a system that is as good as there is in the world.
