No, that is what I call the wholesale condemnation of the government, always, of course, vague so that you can insinuate as much or as little as is expedient at any given time, but nevertheless, full of allegations that are nowhere near proven, except to those who assume the worst in the first place.......

They serve will equal valor who fight in the shadows...

The Soviet KGB began a PR campaign against the CIA that they ran for decades. They only ever convinced the American left-the most receptive audience. With the help of the captive liberal press-the negative legacy has lingered. On September 11 we saw the results.

It's time for you and your pals to shut the fuck up...

Hey self proclaimed strong, rich, smart, combat ready MSI. I will bet my optimistic trusting view of Bush will be proven out by the failure of your prediction below that "Bush Inc" will damage our country. It already is a stronger and better place than it was the day he took office. By a long shot. If you supported some of his positions instead of painting him (inaccurately) as an untrustworthy, money grabbing, power hungry elitist you may even help us get there.

"The only thing that will damage this country is unchecked secrecy of an all-powerful central government, in the present case, run by Bush Inc"

Blowback is b.s. It is merely an excuse to nothing in the world...which is what the United States did for the most part in Afghanistan between, 1992 and 2001 (by International Agreement).

By your "blow back" theory, one could argue that it was wrong to support Stalin in the Second World War. One could argue that Nazism (a personality cult) probably wouldn't have survived much past Hitler anyway (like Alexander's Empire). The "blow back" from supporting the Soviet Union during the 2nd World War, was the Cold War (and close to a hundred thousand American troops killed in Vietnam and Korea).

And maybe, we shouldn't have opposed the Soviet Union after the 2nd World War. The "blow back" from the implosion of the Soviet Union, was the rise of fascist/socialist governments in places like Yugoslavia, and kleptocracies in many parts of the old Communist block.

If the United States hadn't revolted, the British wouldn't have sent troops to Americas, spreading a Small Pox epidemic that was greater and more devestating than any previous epidemic (to white and especially native populations) in North America. So by your "blow back theory" the American Revolution was a mistake - especially since other colonies like Canada and Australia gained independence without a violent revolution a few years later.
