If you want to continue, or delve further into how you feel about me personally, please PM me. I'll answer. I don't wish to discuss this by PM. It's just too weird. If you want to discuss it, we'll have to do it in public. I feel safer that way. but you've chosen to attack me twice now. I got tired of turning the other cheek. I tried apologizing for offending you but you insisted you weren't offended. I tried giving you the last word but that didn't satisfy you. You made oblique references to it a good ten times, most recently the crack today. I tried to just wait it out until you got over it. Two weeks later you're still prodding me about itches. Will it satisfy you if I just say you were right and I was wrong? Probably not. you make allusions about religious snarlfests as though you haven't played a large part in them I've been involved in two--the one about the imaginary friend that occurred in December, which I conceded, and the one with you, which I didn't concede. I didn't concede it because I am not contemptuous of people who believe in God. Punto, as Marcos would say. It seemed unlike you and I said that. I told you why I thought it was contemptuous and backed it up. Maybe it seemed unlike me because you read it wrong. Or overreacted to it. I spent post after post trying to explain what I said and why I said it. I explained how religious practices that dehumanize us contradict my beliefs. You would not be mollified. That's all I can do. I ran out of things to say and different ways to say them. I'd said I'd let your last comment stand, meaning with no argument from me, because it shows so clearly your own biases and lack of self knowledge. Fine. Then leave it at that. That's awfully big of you, considering you don't have a religion. I have beliefs. I posted them for all to see and critique. All belief systems that are treated as religions don't have deities. Mine doesn't. Please feel free to critique mine. I will not take in personally, I assure you. I enjoy analyzing ideas. That's why I'm here.
