You should make some money off your short. But don't hold it too long. Right now the day traders are abandoning Apple to use their profits to chase other stocks that are about to report. The institutions ought to start buying even more AAPL after the drop, so it won't go down far or stay there long. They believe that companies that show profits are good!

I must confess I shorted a little more right at the close. Was expecting more highlighting of missed shipments. Was happy to hear about them opening more (money-losing) stores, though.

that should have been a good bet, i'm surprised it is holding up so well so far, but it should sell off some more in the next day or so..... don't hold it too long, i doubt it will crack too much now..... amazing strength.....

those ton of outstanding put options are now all going to cost a bunch of people a very large amount of money, so they may be skidish about shorting for awhile again....
