Are you still holding Billy's big METRO "last mile picks'?

Still holding what? I don't think I've ever owned more than one stock that he owned and AVCI is not a "last mile pick". More like a "middle mile" one, though, as you may have read, they are moving from the core to the edge. No, not the edge of busto - they still have $149 million in cash and investments. That's $2.99 per share.

Like you once told me...He sure looked good during the "bubble".

I don't think I ever said he "looked good," though I might have noted that he probably made lots of money while us rational fundamentalists scoffed at the lunacy of it all. ;-) Whether he held onto much of his winnings is another question, but I'm sure he's still sitting on a big pile.

PS: I don't think he owns AVCI any more.
PPS: The former chairman (still a director), Swartz, recently spent over a million bucks buying AVCI stock around $2 (501k shares @$1.91-$2.39, Mar 5-8). What could he know? ;-)
