The name of the game is to squeeze costs, cut insurance coverage, screw the rank-and-file so the chosen few at the top can earn those million-dollar annual bonuses/stock options by improving the bottom line. And, of course, it's all done under the euphemism of "shareholder equity." Re: Your highlighting of Global Crossing in bold type: Whether an unpatriotic company has stronger ties to Republicans or Democrats ... it doesn't make any difference to me. If they can't wave Old Glory over a headquarters that's on American soil, screw 'em all. Boycott 'em.
