Softie, once again you post as though your words are gospel and you have your facts WRONG once again ....

Seibel's comments were simply a rehash of previous comments made about 9 months ago ....

His comments were specific to SOFTWARE companies, not "IT companies" ...

He never said 400 .....

There are a million of these little crap software companies out there and yes, only a handful will make it.

One I've very familiar with is VITR ... will they thrive ? No. Will they survive 5 years from now ? Most likely not. Will SEBL acquire them in the next few years; yes, very likely.

So, Softie, I have a question for you ... since many of your posts are innacurate < being kind here >, are you just sloppy or should we view you in the same vein as you view Larry Ellison ?
