There would be no need to consider this question if everyone lived the golden rule. It doesn't happen, there is too much advantage to be reaped by violating it.

Government officials don't live by the golden rule more then the private sector does.

Law is meant to restrain more socially destructive behavior, not to ensure that everyone lives the Golden Rule.

If the compensation issue is not aired, whose fault is that? Those who are against the drilling.........
