USDA has been losing it's budget by about 10% each time "W" submits a budget. This will likely cripple such
oversite.

Will it? Got numbers?

Suppose that program takes 5% of USDA budget. Suppose 50% of the budget is being wasted. Then you could cut back 40% and triple that program's budget.

Laz answered this pretty well.

Also as I said before there are some particular narrow areas where regulations might be needed or regulatory funding increased or not decreased.

Let me try a different angle. What (if any) important regulations or area of regulation in the US contributes more harm to the US then good. What regulations would you eliminate?

Also what are your favorite controversial regulations, in other words what regulation or law or area of regulation that was opposed by many and still has a decent level of opposition are you most happy about?
