<<Remember to take some profits off the table.
The stocks I had triple, I sold 1/3 to recover
all initial capital, then go on a 2/3 free ride.>>

Remember the days of tulips when the Internet analysts told all who would listen, "Never sell a single share of your winners"? Do you remember "Sell your losers & buy more of your winners"? I'm in your camp, BUT, how many more are out that not taking a penny's profit? How many are buying HL or ... based on the charts with-out even knowing where the company is, or what it does?

Remember to take some profits off the table.

You just reminded me of the OTHER reason I dumped the CDE. Since it was under 5 bucks, I couldn't margin against it. Most of the time, I keep 20-100% in cash, but if precious metals ever make "The big run", I intend to margin up the YinYang.

Taking profits off the table and not margining make sense 99% of the time, but you have to be prepared to do the wrong thing at the right time. That time approaches.

Just my opinion.
