I have no problem at all, you have. I just merely
pointed out that basic gates are up to 150-200GHz.
Even with the old Pentium-Pro rule of no more than
8 gate levels between pipeline stages, all CPUs
must run up to 15-20GHz today. They do not. There is
one little "thingy" called "interconnect" that
slows things down, significantly. That's why all
those cool demos of small self-contained blocks are
mostly marketing smoke, and you took the bait.
