How do you then explain AMD's (Hector I think) statement that 0.13 is ahead of schedule and that switchover to 100% 0.13 would happen a quarter earlier than plan?

AMD is always on or ahead of schedule.<g> It's just that the schedule changes every quarter.

I think the latest schedule was that AMD would be all .13u at the end of the year. So he must be referring to that schedule. But than again, what does it mean? Everything that will be going into the pipeline starting Q4 will be .13u or leaving the pipeline? Your guess is as good as mine.

Transition to 130nm toolsets can be ahead of schedule, yet volume shipment of parts can be behind schedule if a problem was discovered on production wafers (after qualification). This is just a guess on my part.
