Mani let me clarify, the article that I seems can not find now did not specifically said anything about public announcement but rather that the became quite open about the development. The example that was given is Iraq's Sadam openly calling on the scientists to develop nuclear arcenal in order to combat threat from Israel and West. Most of the articles that I read about Iran state that Iran is going to haveNuclear arcenal within 3 years. re: I KNOW is not true. are you referring to Iranian phylosophy that nuclear weapons are immoral? :-)) -Albert
